Are you supposed to wear Classic Adidas Sambas barefoot?

I've had mine for about 2 months now and I have been wearing them all the time but I have been wearing them with socks on as well. But when I search "Classic Adidas Sambas" on YouTube, the people are always wearing them barefoot. Should I wear them barefoot too? Wearing them barefoot feels just as comfortable as with socks on. :D
