Help! A babybird fell in our pool! What do I do?

Ok. So my idiot parents were up for a long time and they were to busy to notice a black blob of feathers in our pool ): It was a bird. A *black bird* in a big.Emty pool. ,mind you, and I noticed it right away. Anyway, my step dad fished it out with a net and put it in the mulch with shade, but it's just laying there with its wings spread out and beak open. It's alive of course and I know it sounds stupid that I'm worring about a wild bird, but I cant help it. It looks like its a teen bird....? Its bigger that a baby bird but smaller than an adult. Oh! And I think its mother is flying around. It looks like its hurt, but mabey its trying to dry off..I dont know. Just calm my nerves and tell me what to do please.
