Kissing with a tongue piercing?

I'm thinking of getting my tongue done and I know that you should really refrain from kissing during the first 2 weeks but I was just wondering, with me and my boyfriend being intimate a lot of the time (kissing and hugging most of the time) i'm afraid I wont be able to stop myself from kissing him. So would I still be able to kiss him if it was closed mouth kissing? Also, when can I start making out with him again? Cheers.
