Did Pteranadons actually dive into the water to catch fish?

On the show Dinosaur Train, the Pteranadons dive into the water to catch fish. But I've read that if they dove into the water, it would be very difficult for them to get out and fly. With only a few exceptions of a few birds like the kingfisher that actually dives into the water to get the fish. Would this mean that Pteranadons flew close to the water and scooped up the fish with their long beaks?
