Do Adidas Samba suede trainers get creased by rain?

I am thinking of buying some suede trainers, and have seen ones like Adidas Samba suede, however I am not sure if they can be worn in the rain at all. Does the rain destroy these kind of trainers straight away, or is it a gradual thing?
