How to get into ballroom and latin dancing?

I have been intrigued and interested in doing ballroom and latin dancing such as Waltz, Samba, Foxtrot, etc. I admit, Dancing With the Stars got me wanting to do this and I am really serious about it, so what type of classes should I go to? And what kind of dances are Jive, Argentine Tango, etc?
