What Shoes should I wear to amusement park?

I am going to a amusement park and wanted to know which shoes to wear with it. My teacher said it wouldn't be the best idea to wear flip flops or sandals to the park. So I might be able to go buy shoes, but for now my options are Adidas samba's, Nike running shoes, practically only sneakers. I am going to wear jean shorts, with a shirt we are required to wear ( loose dark blue). Please help, I need to look nice.. don't forget I am going to be in an amusement park, and I might need to run at times.Thank you! GOOD luck :)
