I was diagnosed with mono this morning... I've had symptoms for almost a month now. The first doctor I went to said that it was bad tonsillitis, but after being prescribed penicillin, and taking that for about 5 days with my symptoms not any better (in fact they got worse)... I decided to go to another doctor. She ordered blood tests and they came back positive for mono. How long do I have to wait before I can kiss my boyfriend? What kind of domestic bird was this?

My husband and I saw a bird in a pet store years ago and are trying to remember what breed it may have been. The bird was about the size of a parakeet, a bit larger than a lovebird. It was almost all bright yellow and I'm pretty sure it had a bright red beak but I don't think it was a hooked beak like a parrot has, it was a small, straight, short beak. What is Actually Happening Inside my Abdomen when I think of my boyfriend and feel butterflies in there?

When I think of making love to my boyfriend, I get this feeling for a few seconds in my abdomen, like a wave of intense feeling, almost like butterflies. What is actually going on down there? I have had a little bit of trouble with my weight over the last few years so I have tried diets and workouts to help this problem. In the meantime I purchased those slimming compression shirts to wear as an undershirt. It does make me look much slimmer, still I look stocky but it at least hides the gut and moobs that once showed without the undershirt. On his last show of Man vs Wild he found some Phaesant eggs and boiled them... when he cracked them open they were in the 3rd stage of development! Wouldn't they have felt pain being boiled? I'm worried about the bird because it can't eat right with the beak so overgrown. I'm wondering if it has an infection. Need help finding title of horror movie? (Black Plague)?

How to stop my bullying problem?

everyone gets bullied once in a while but then there's a line that you cross and its taken too far. you need to learn to stand up to the bullies, not stay quiet, i know getting angry is not the best way, and sometimes staying quite is. but in my opinion i know its not easy, standing up to about 5 people that always take the piss out of you but you need to do something about it. dont rely on family or school if their not doing anything about it, do something about it yourself. start shouting at them back, it'll give them the idea that your not as quiet and easy to bully as you look. if you still cant find the courage then you need to talk to your parents again and definitley find some new friends that will stick up for you. i know its hard to trust people but not everyone is like the friends you had before you just need to get to know someone. maybe someone in the same position as you? like they say, 'your always safer in a crowd' so if theres one of you, five of them, your bound to get bullied, you just need trust worthy friends thats gonna help you no matter what you do. but just remember, hurting YOURSELF is not the best way, you wont get anything out of it, just more pain, your problems wont go away if you decide to hate yourself or whatever cause if you aint gonna love yourself, how do you expect someone else to?

My girlfriend and i have been together for over 2 years now and we also live together. She has a wonderful son who's almost 3. My problem is we also live with her ex girlfriend for over 2 years. I have a chicken, probably around 2-3 yrs old, we got her and some of her buddies on the 4th of April. About a month ago, we introduced some new young birds, gradually, and now everyone is co-existing well. On Friday, I noticed my big girl Biggie, had her comb was discolored and laying on her head (usually is erect and a bright red), she seemed very slow, delayed reactions and very careful about where she stepped. She's way out of it. She is not eating, depressed like, stays to herself, not interested in her free time (not even when everyone sounds the worm alarm and they go nuts) she'll just stand or lay there, not interested. There has been a few times where I see her yawning (like she's trying to dislodge some thing, but she's not gaging or choking) and she occasionally has a goober of drool from her beak. Her breathing is rapid, and she has some runny stool, but its not clumped on her bottom and she is not herself at all. The young birds were de wormed 2x prior before introduction, and the big girls were de wormed 2x before the introduction and as an entire flock they were de wormed after introduction. My husband cleans the entire coop ever 2-3 days, they are fed crumble, oyster shells every day, and corn 1 to 2 x a week thrown out in their paddock where they have free time. They get free time in a controlled setting, and are allowed to forage for bugs and on grass. I don't think she is laying, she's hardly walking or eating. We separated her to prevent the other girls from picking on her. Any suggestions. I was leaning towards coccidosis, however, labored breathing doesn't fit into the symptoms, and sour croup, but she doesn't have a smell? Any suggestions. I've tried all the vets around here, and none of them see chickens and yest we are in a rural area! ={ They suggest butchering her to prevent contamination of the rest of the flock.... ok if I need to , but I will not do that yet, because I don't know what it is and no other birds are displaying any of her symptoms. My grandpa has been 'babysitting' someones African Grey parrot for awhile now, and he takes the best care he can of her, but its not quite adequate. Ok so before I start let me say that I am the least vain man on the planet. I actually really don't care how I look except for my nose. Its the one thing about myself I properly hate. I have a bump on the bridge of my nose which completely changes the way I look and makes me look like I have a beak whenever a picture of me is taken from the side. Strange conure behavior. What do i do?

Im babysitting my boyfriends green cheek conure. He hatched september. He acts very scared and its almost impossible to persuade him to trust you at all. He wont step up to get out of the cage. And he runs from you when you try to get him to step up out of the cage. Yet he doesnt bite at all when you handle him. Im not chasing him with my hand or anything i just move and he takes off. I'm really depressed and been for a long time?

When I was a freshmen I had super high self esteem and made lots of friends and chilled all the time and everything was good. Sophmore year I transferred to another school and made some friends. Then second semester I never really went out afterschool anywhere and just straight home until it became a riuting and never got invited anywhere and since I don't live close to any of my cousins or relatives I really have no choice. Now this year junior year the new friends that I made moved to another school because they basically got kicked out for low grades and Now i hang ouT with a not really close friend and some freshmen who act like little kids and I'm embarresed to have no choice but to hang out with them. Lunch is very boring and I wanna go back to my old school.I don't do nothing afterschool or weekends at all just play guitar or xbox. I've also created a social anxiety problem and don't feel normal and awkward. The way I'm writing this actually doesn't seem that bad but I can't express how super depressed and in pain I am. I'm alone, never had a gf, only child, no close friends, no life, I struggle to even smile or pretend I'm happy. Ive lost contact with my cousins when I was about 8 yrs old so they all probably hav a life or busy. Plus their far away. I'm alone just with my little brother and parents and my grandma. hi i bought a cockatiel which is 100% male, someone said to me that he is pearl male, now my question is that he is molting feathers his tail complete dark grey but on the tail one longest feather is silver grey and on this feather very very very light white barring, and under side wing all primary and secondary feathers are grey but on the major coverts there are still pearl markings and on his face except bright cheek patch some very light and very small orange patches on below the beak on the head. now plz tell me is it pearl male cockatiel or some other???? he makes too noise and too much whistling also stand as heart shape wing, and his tail is very very long thx plz must reply thx again
